Do you have a birthday program or discount?

How much does a meal cost? 

Adults are ages 13 and up. Kids are ages 4-12. 3 and under eat free.

Are beverages included in the meal cost?

No, beverages are not included in the meal price. We offer an array of fountain beverages, fresh brewed tea, coffee and hot tea. We also offer a full bar with beer, wine and cocktails. 

What type of food does Miller’s Smorgasbord serve? 

We serve a mix of classic PA Dutch fare from chicken and waffles to chicken pot pie as well as classic American comfort food. With over 30 hot dishes, 20 cold dishes & salads, chilled steamed shrimp, full salad bar, 8 homemade soups, a carving station with ham, turkey and roast beef, and our dessert bar with a huge selection of pies, cakes and more, we have a little something for everyone. Is there a Veteran’s or Military Discount?  

Yes, we offer a 10% meal discount to active military and military veterans. Valid military/veteran’s id must be shown for the discount. Discount is valid only on the meal and for the military member. The discount is not valid with any other discounts and not valid for family members. For more details, please ask your server. 

Do you recommend reservations? 

Yes, we highly recommend reservations to avoid wait times. Reservations can be made online, on the RESY app,  or by calling 1-800-669-3568. Please note that reservations open 30 days out for groups less than 20 with the exception of our holiday special buffets: Easter, Mother’s Day and Thanksgiving. For groups of 9 or more, reservations are by phone only. For groups of 20 or more, please reach out to group sales

  • Monday – Sunday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

Is a credit card required to make a reservation? 

We reserve the right to require credit cards to make a reservation. This is not used to pay for your meal. You will pay for your meal after you dine with your server. Your card will not be charged unless you cancel less than 3 hours prior to our reservation or you are a no-show. If you are no-call, no-show, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee. 

Is gratuity included? 

An automatic gratuity of 18% is added to all parties of 8 or more.

If it is Easter, Mother’s Day or Thanksgiving, gratuity is often included regardless of party size. Please see pricing for those meals to confirm.  

What is there to do at Miller’s while we wait?

While you wait, we encourage you to check out The Shoppes at Miller’s which includes Anna’s Gifts & Sundries, Locally Made Food Store, The Quilt Shop at Miller’s and Ruthie’s Apparel.

Is Miller’s family owned? Is Miller’s locally owned?

Miller’s has been owned by the Strauss family since they purchased the restaurant from the Miller’s in the 50s. Beatrice and Thomas Strauss were long time employees of Miller’s. Thomas E. Strauss, Inc. is the hospitality group that the Strauss family formed to encompass all their businesses. This hospitality group includes Locally Made Food Shop, MIller’s Bakery, The Quilt Shop at Miller’s, Anna’s Gifts & Sundries, Plain & Fancy Farm, Smokehouse BBQ & Brews and AmishView Inn & Suites. The Strauss family is proud of their Lancaster County roots and happy to call Lancaster home.

How long has Miller’s been part of Lancaster County?

Miller’s Smorgasbord opened in 1929! So we have been serving Lancaster County for a long time. Learn more about our history here.

Where does Miller’s get its baked goods?

We bake our baked goods here on premise at Miller’s Bakery that includes our raisin bread, chocolate pecan pie, rolls, cheesecake and so much more! Stop in at Locally Made Food Shop to pick up some items to take home.

Where can I buy Miller’s baked goods or soups to take home?

You can pick up Miller’s baked goods, soups and more at Locally Made Food Shop right next to Miller’s. You can also order select items online from Locally Made Food Shop or Goldbelly for shipping. You can always give the shop a call to see if items are available or to pre-order.

Do you offer coupons or a loyalty program?

We encourage you to sign up for our quarterly newsletter and special alerts to get the latest on Miller’s and for the occasional offer. Sign up here.

Is Miller’s Open for Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s?

Miller’s Smorgasbord is open for Easter, Thanksgiving and New Year’s. We are closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. See our hours for more details.

Please note that for Easter, Mother’s Day and Thanksgiving reservations open early and often are fully booked at least 1-2 weeks prior to the holiday. Please call early to get your reservations. See here for the dates for holiday reservations open.

How do you handle allergies, gluten-free and other dietary restrictions?

We offer a wide variety of options when it comes to items on our buffet. We do have an allergen menu with ingredient list available when you come to dine and your server can help guide you as well. However, please be aware that all food is cooked in our kitchen or our bakery as well as being on the buffet, we cannot guarantee that there isn’t cross-contamination. Our bakery does cook with various types of nuts and nut products.

What are your hours?

When does the buffet close?

We start closing the buffet 1/2 hour after last seating.

Can Miller’s Smorgasbord accommodate my large group?

We can take groups of up to 200 with advance reservations. Please contact group sales to inquire about availability.

Is there bus or RV parking at Miller’s Smorgasbord?

We do have plenty of large spaces for busses and RVs on the east side of our parking lot. Please note that there is no overnight parking. There are also no hook ups for RVs. If bringing a bus group, please reach out to group sales for advance reservations.
